About the position

Hailo is seeking a talented Embedded Software Integrator to play a crucial role in developing and releasing our cutting-edge Edge AI SW releases.

You will have the opportunity to design and build tools and methods to help R&D development. Shape, build and release our custom Linux based OS for our embedded devices. Collaborate with all R&D teams for system definitions, integration and debug customers and development systems.

Responsibilities

  • Build and develop complex SW releases using YOCTO project
  • Integrate and develop new software features into our Linux distribution
  • Work across various software environments, including low-level drivers, real-time firmware, Embedded Linux (user and kernel space) and complex infrastructures.
  • Develop and scale our build and release infrastructure to meet diverse needs.
  • Collaborate closely with all R&D teams, considering challenging requirements to manage a large-scale embedded system.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of R&D experience using YOCTO Project
  • Proven skill in integrating various software components and collaborating effectively with different teams within R&D
  • Proficiency in embedded software stack, including Linux Kernel (Drivers) and Linux User-Mode
  • Demonstrated hardworking, committed, and self-reliant attitude.
  • Proactive technical leadership, strong interpersonal skills and communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Fluent in English
