In this position

As the Inside Sales Representative for Hailo.AI in the US, reporting directly to the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in a rapidly growing technology startup, contributing to Hailo’s sales expansion in North America. Collaborating closely with customers, leads, partners, and headquarters staff, this role bridges inside sales, operations, and administrative support, with the potential for significant involvement in new customer development and marketing/promotional activities.

Responsibilities

  • Work interfaces – Collaborate closely with the GM, Sales Directors, and Applications Engineers to acquire new customers and partners, and provide exceptional customer and partner support as a primary interface with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Sales & Customer Support – Work with the GM, Sales Directors, and FAEs on administrative tasks, such as preparing sales reports, generating quotes, and maintaining customer databases. Collaborate with Sales Directors to address customer needs and resolve issues promptly.
  • Customer Communication – Act as the key point of contact for customers, offering information on product availability, pricing, and order status. Respond promptly to customer inquiries via emails, phone calls, and other channels professionally and courteously.
  • Sales Coordination – Assist the GM and Sales Directors in coordinating sales activities and supporting the execution of sales strategies. Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing presentation materials, and managing sales-related documentation.
  • HQ Sales Operations Coordination – Serve as the primary interface with HQ-based Sales Operations leads to provide quick, actionable, and reliable information to Sales and Customers regarding quotes, shipments, inventory, and forecasts.
  • Distribution & Partner Management – Work closely with our distribution and partners on trade show organization, training schedules, quoting/shipment/supply management, and distribution registrations.
  • Conferences & Events – Assist in planning, promoting, and executing Hailo’s activities at various industry conferences and events in North America.

Detailed Responsibilities:

  • Receive, review, and process incoming RFQs, Quotes, and Orders accurately and efficiently. Ensure that all orders are entered into the system promptly and accurately to meet customer deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer information and sales transactions, including order details, and pricing.
  • Aid GM in developing internal reporting, Salesforce dashboards, weekly reports, and expense reports.
  • Aid GM in planning and coordination of team calendar, events, travel, and HQ visitors.

Requirements

  • This position is fully remote.
  • The candidates‘ location should be Chicago/Wisconsin/Michigan but the role is focused on Chicago (no relocation is offered.)
  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in sales support or administrative roles, ideally within the semiconductor industry.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship management, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities, coupled with acute attention to detail.
  • The capability to effectively multitask and prioritize tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment is crucial.
