About this position

Hailo is looking to hire a dynamic and strategic HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team as the sole HRBP reporting to VP of HR. This role will work closely with managers and employees to align our HR strategies with business goals, develop people solutions, and foster a positive productive work culture. As an HRBP, you’ll be directly responsible for driving HR initiatives that impact the entire organization, with a unique opportunity to shape and scale functions from the ground up.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic HR partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to managers, providing guidance, mentoring, and consultation for managers. Align HR strategies with business objectives to foster a high-performing and engaged culture.
  • Employee engagement: Conduct regular check-ins and feedback sessions with team members to identify and address potential challenges proactively. Foster a positive work culture that supports employee engagement, motivation, and well-being. Serve as the main point of contact for employee relations, addressing workplace issues and resolving conflicts.
  • Performance management: Partner with managers to design and deliver development programs that enhance employee skills and capabilities, aligning with current and future business needs.
  • Employee development: Develop and execute while working closely with the managers on development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities, aligning with business needs.
  • Cross-functional process Improvement: Design and implement streamlined HR processes across departments to ensure alignment with business objectives and consistency in employee experience.
  • Data-driven HR effectiveness: Utilize data analysis and company surveys to evaluate HR initiatives, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive measurable outcomes. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to guide strategic decision-making across the organization.


Requirements

  • Be a People person.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner.
  • Experience from at least two organizations.
  • Strong understanding of HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
  • Proven ability to build trust and influence at all levels of an organization, from leadership to employees.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment, demonstrating resilience and agility.
  • Passionate about creating a positive workplace culture and helping employees reach their full potential.
